Brand Consultant

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and actively prospecting for new accounts. Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with new and existing customers in person, by phone, and through written communication
  • Develop a strategic sales plan and execute the plan to satisfy revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through all stages of project scope, development, execution, and maintenance
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations and recommend specific products and solutions; research products by vendor capabilities and calculate estimates to provide competitive pricing
  • Collaborate with all internal departments to develop solutions and services for clients’ creative, technical, and operational needs
  • Interface with customer service team and vendors as necessary regarding client orders to ensure scheduled deadlines and requests are met
  • Demonstrate proficiency in cross-selling product lines and the ability to identify and develop new client and market opportunities
  • Ensure the growth of the business and be committed to the company’s success

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience.
  • Industry experience in print/promotional items is strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in lead generation and be able to identify and develop new client and market opportunities
  • Possess strong persuasive and interpersonal skills with the ability to use a consultative approach to close sales
  • Demonstrate the ability to articulate a value proposition that directly addresses clients’ individual and distinct needs
  • Have the ability to sell technology-based solutions
  • Have a strong customer focus and be passionate about helping clients grow their business.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent organizational and time management skills with consistent follow up
  • Maximize selling time and spend 60-70% of the time engaged in prospecting and new business development activities
  • Be willing to maximize selling hours and be an active learner
  • Have computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Be able to drive and travel locally to customer and vendor locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Diligently follow orders through completion, working with appropriate parties to quickly resolve issues that delay timely processing. Timely responses to our customers via email and phone
  • Responsibilities include quoting, pricing, and sourcing of products
  • Cross-functional team participation. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Cooley’s Key Initiatives.
  • Create presentations and company store spreadsheets
  • Manage multiple projects and conduct research as needed
  • Responsible for continuous learning to include, industry training, customer experience, and order processing/tracking
  • Regular attendance at all Preferred Partner meetings to learn about new products and industry trends
  • Contribute to the overall team’s success by providing backup as needed in general office and clerical tasks to include phone coverage

eCommerce Billing Specialist

Cooley Group, a nationally recognized, award-winning print and promotional company, headquartered in Rochester, New York is seeking an energetic, highly organized, and motivated Billing Specialist who is ready to apply knowledge of financial terms and principles to authentic real-world experience. Under the supervision of our staff, the Billing Specialist can expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports and support a wide range of duties including eCommerce reporting and online store platform integration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Accounting team to compile, analyze and track eCommerce data
  • Assist with data entry and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Use company software and enter information into files or databases, ensuring that all financial records are complete and accurate
  • Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications
  • Reconcile eCommerce closed store information, reports, and credit card reconciliation.
  • Input orders for closed stores into ERP system and place the item orders with suppliers.
  • Apply payments received to the associated order and provide information to accounting
  • Vouch store-related payables and complete order billing once all costs are received and vouched
  • Special projects as needed including integration of online store platform with ERP system
  • Other duties as assigned
